“Automation in the edible oil industry was unheard of till the year 2007. We were among the first to introduce this type of automation in our industry. The initial number of manpower required to match the line speed and stack the carton boxes was approximately 10 people for this activity which we wanted to optimize.

We knew Columbia as a reputed global player and they proposed us a customized solution to match our line speed, pattern design, and layer stickability which would help us to improve the operational efficiency in a huge way. With the use of Columbia Palletizer Model FL150, line speed was not an issue anymore and we were able to stack 5 layers of boxes instead of 4 which we were doing by manual palletizing. This allowed us to hugely improve our process efficiency and hence we took the decision of adding another palletizer in the year 2015 with an advanced Columbia Palletizer Model FL3000. We appreciate such advanced technology in palletizers. We have been enjoying Columbia Palletizer’s user-friendly interface and increased uptime and productivity.”
