High strength, Dimensional accuracy, better and uniform surface finish, higher output are the biggest advantages of concrete products made on Columbia Machines compared to that of the products made from other machines and technologies.

We expected the same when we decided to start tile production on Columbia in the year 2022. We achieved consistency in strength with cement consumption much lower as compared to other machines. The product quality is far superior to what we had expected. We have manufactured all kinds of products on Columbia Machine, be it Retaining wall blacks, 35/ 60/80/100 mm pavers, double layered and shot blasted pavers. In all the products the biggest advantage was the consistent strength received, upto 50 N/mm2.

We have received order of 50,000sqft of tiles from a Bhivandi contractor which is in process and many more in the pipeline. Other than this, we would also try new design very soon to keep up with the ever-changing market demands.

We are privileged to receive optimum support from Columbia while launching any new product. With the current capacity of 5 machines, we are more than satisfied with Columbia Machines and would soon add a higher-capacity automated plants. I wish Columbia the very best!

Columbia revolutionizes Low Height Concrete Product Market

Customers all over India have been producing low-height tiles for decades. They use vibrating tables with rubber molds, hydraulic and hermetic presses for the production of these tiles. Low strength, inconsistency in strength, height variation and dimensional inaccuracy were the major drawbacks of tiles/low-height products produced through such technologies. This led to premature failures resulting in recurring maintenance cost, uneven surface causing water logging, reduction in speed, slippery surface, growth of algae etc.

Based on the feedback from our customers and their requirements to produce low-height tiles on Columbia Machines, our R&D and application engineering teams worked together to develop low-height production technology on Columbia Machines and developed a solution to resolve these concerns of our customers. This resulted in the development of SPM20+ which can do low-height tile production with specially designed molds and sophisticated machine components.

Automatic tiles, one among our premium customers and proud owner of 5 Columbia plants, secured a prestigious order from their client to produce 35 mm shot blasted flexi paver. They placed order on us for the required equipment and molds. Our Sales, Engineering and production team worked together and supplied the required equipment and molds to execute this project. Our service team successfully installed, commissioned, and successfully completed production trials of this special product with the accuracy of highest level.

Both Automatic Tile and the end customer are highly satisfied with the finish, high strength and dimensional accuracy of tiles produced form Columbia Model SPM20+ Plant. Columbia team is glad in serving our customers requirement for high end, extremely customised product requirement from time to time. With this Columbia has added low height product / tiles to the wide range of over 100+ concrete products produced in India on Columbia plants.

  • The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has fast-tracked the ambitious elevated corridor project between Chennai Port and Maduravoyal, which is expected to involve an investment of ₹5,855 crore. Service Tips

    Make sure you check for correct insert height stop for product you will be running. Fine adjustment can be made with lower height pin. If height stop light is not coming on, when height stops are made check electrical connections.
